The Australian Psychology Accreditation Council Ltd is an independent quality and standards organisation, appointed by the Psychology Board of Australia as the Higher Education Accreditation Authority for the Psychology profession in Australia.
APAC accredits more than 700 programs of study across 41 higher education providers including programs in Malaysia and Singapore. APAC has over 20 certified expert assessors on its register who contribute to APAC’s program of assessments and advisory work.
APAC's Mission
APAC’s mission is to protect the public by conducting accreditation activities that ensure graduates of accredited programs receive high-quality education and are well equipped to employ their psychological knowledge and skills in the community. This includes, in particular, being sufficiently qualified and competent to meet the registration requirements of the Psychology Board of Australia under the Health Practitioner Regulation Law.
